Hey,

Like Mariska I got an E-mail from someone who wanted to import Dutch rats and who told me about the SHSRP.

My name is Angela, but usually everyone calls me Angie.
I'm Also a Ratbreeder, I just planned my Second litter

I always like to know how other rat breeders from around the world do their thing.
I just discovered in poland they breed with Fuzz/hairless
I'm not used to that, it's not done in holland
We have them, but (most) Ratteries don't breed with them.

At the moment I have 12 rats(Just lost my youngest girl yesterday )
the oldest is a black berkshire girl Named baby who's over 2,5 years old and the youngest is J.J., a fawn hooded male who's 5 months old.

In the future I would like to breed Fawn/Silver fawn, Agouti & Black eyed Siamese, both top&Dumbo-eared and with Rex/velveteen & Normal coat.
but most important offcourse; Healthy Rats

I work closely with Mariska, most of my breeding-rats come from her, and she also sired my first litter and 1 of her males is planned for my second

I Don't speak Polish, So I'll be writing everything in English

Oooh...but you don't have any problems with moms giving not enough milk and stuff like that? Because that's my main concern about breeding fuzz...although you can choose to only use an male-fuzz and a normal-haired(fuzz-carrier) female

Katarzyna Skoczylas has rats from my breeding too.

I'm planning a line of self rats agouti and topaz - my C litter - Happy Feet breeding, but unfortunately I'm no longer making a booking. But I want to continue the line. I have pedigree placed on breeding's website, but I don't know why it isn't opening

Vanished, I also heard opinions that some of fuzz females have no milk, but as far as i know that never happened in Poland. Fuzz females were just as good mothers as females with fur.

Members of SHSRP have recently brought rats from Finland and some came from Lithuania and soon some are coming from Sweden. We also import rats from Czech Republic (with ancestros from Germany and France as well).

Our rattery is not planning on breeding agouti or topaz rats, we prefer blue, black and platinum

But we (me and żywym_trudniej) planning little with agouti rats :}
We will have standard agouti and black with spotted, varieberk, variegated, banded so a lot of patched rats.

patched and Variegated are nice, but I also like the simple markings like hooded.
My first ever rat was a Agouti Hooded dumbo male, and I still love that combination

At the moment I have:

1 Mink hooded(w/headspot), 1 Mink berkshire(half brothers, same dad)
1 Russian blue hooded dumbo wavy, 1 Russian Dove self(Grandmother&Granddaughter)
1 Blue Beige hooded dumbo wavy, 1 blue beige self dumbo
1 Black Berkshire, 1 Black Capped dumbo
1 Siamese ruby-eyed rex, 1 BES
1 Silver Fawn hooded, 1 Black roan rex dumbo

So no Agouti's at the moment but maybe my next girl, out of a litter from Mariska
I'm totally in love with the Capped girl I have, that's one of my favourite markings

Vanished, I saw your web site and rats. They're absolutely fab! I have also checked the planned litters and what conserned me is timing. If Nakasha is one who transport them we do not know what kind of babies will be available at the time.

Well my upcoming litter will be born at the end of march/beginning of april and that's the litter mensioned on my website

after that there will be the litter with my BES-girl, and I still have to find a "date" for her...that litter will be born around end of may/beginning of june hopefully

The silver fawn is still a young male, he's only 5 months old at the moment so i'm not yet planning a litter with him..maybe next year
